Crazy.....no.....stupid.....probably. I would say you were ignorant, but you know what you are doing is wrong. In factory trim, you are over your GVWR, GCWVR, GAWR and your tire ratings. Good luck.

I would probably do it/try it if you had a long bed- I would add air bags. With a short bed I would either get a different trailer or a new truck.

Going down some of those passes in Utah is nerve racking with a DRW- I can't imagine it in a short bed. You don't have enough wheel base to safely haul that long/heavy of a trailer.

Really not a good idea- and I am the furthest from the weight police can get.

So how crazy am I, just bought a 2012 Voltage V3950 and plan on pulling it with a 2012 GMC Denali HD 2500 Crew Cab Short bed. With a pull rite super glide 24k hit installed. Am i crazy or will this not be a problem??

How crazy? You are certifiably crazy IMHO.

Check out my recent post about how heavy my 3950 is. You will be at least 4000lbs over maximum for that little truck - things will break.

We have a Voltage 3975. We also have a '09 GMC 2500HD DA CC SB and a '10 Dodge 3500 DRW Mega-Cab. I can tell you right now, the Voltage will NEVER be on the 2500. It exceeds every capacity, and I will not endanger my children by putting too much on/behind the truck.

OK So point blank stats a side back to the original question.... Am I crazy or not??? I went loud with the Superglide 24k Hitch!!! Lets run a vote here!

I've read several of your posts and I now think you're trolling.

However, in the extremely unlikely case that you really are as stupid as you claim to be, here are the scale weights of my 3950 loaded but WITHOUT water:

Steer Axle 5140
Drive Axle 7140
Trailer Axle 15640
Gross Comb 27920
Trailer 18720
Pin 3080
Truck 9200

My 2011 3500HD is capable, but is only just under its maximum ratings.
