We have been there 5 or 6 times. We love the place. We love the hiking there. They can accomodate all kind of sizes. Whether you can get in would depend on what time of year you are going and what days of the week. They do take reservations. I think some sites are first come first serve. They can be very crowded during the summer, on the weekends. I would call the ranger station for best sites to fit your rig. They will be very helpful. No full hookups. Most sites have a nice amount of space between sites. There are not a lot of restaurants close by so you may want to plan on eating in most of the time. We did eat at the log cabin restaurant(ranger could help you find it, can't remember name) and the food was very good and nice atmosphere. There is a train ride, washboard factory and small village nearby if you are interested. Think you will enjoy it.

All pads are paved and vary from approx. 40'to 45' in length. The sites are average sized and since none of the sites have anyone behind you, it is possible to back the tires to the rear edge of the pad giving you some extra length. I've seen some pretty good sized rigs there.
Your biggest thrill will be getting the big rig up the narrow winding drive up the hill to the campground.

My suggestion would be that since you are from Middletown, take a drive down there, take a look at it for yourself and pick out the sites that you like the best. We are from Xenia and we always do this when a place is within a 2 hr drive. This has saved us many times as having just the right site that we like the best! This has made our stays so much more enjoyable!
I would also suggest that you take a look at the KOA down the road a few miles also. It is a very nice campground and having stayed at both the KOA and the state park, we like the KOA the best. The funny thing is is that we prefer state parks over private anyday but in this case we like the KOA better!
God Bless and Happy Camping!!!
