Our camper had an off brand bat wing on it that only did a so-so job of picking up digital channels. We could have bought a Sensar IV and put it up there but that would mean we still had to remember to lower every time we move. So, we opted for the Jack Antenna that replaces the mast and all.

It works really, really well and the picture is amazing. We are in the RGV and picked up 4 English channels and several Spanish channels before... now we get 6 English channels and tons of Spanish channels. The signal meter is great for pointing it from the inside and not having to worry about lowering it is awesome.

We did a write-up with lots of pictures, you can see it at http://rvroadtrip.us/library/jack_antenna_install.php.

Great information. I'm curious, does the Jack have a "park" position like the old bat wing?

My concern is how tall is it above the roof?

How does it fold down?

We also have one and it works amazingly well. It does not have a 'park' position you just leave it where it is last pointed. It does not fold down at all and is not higher than the air conditioning unit on the roof. Just totally forget that it is there.

That sounds awesome......I guess that will be my next major project....this past summer we were camped between DC and Richmond, VA and the TV signals sucked....there were times we could not even get a signal....

So is that a signal strength indicator right on the rotator?
