yea, from all i can find on here there hasnt been big issues with them lately. I did read a forum about the tearing issue but it was earlier than 11. As for construction it seems to be good and solid. most i talked to were tt owners though.

Very glad you're going to take a close look at the 23SS. There are a bunch of us on here with that model and don't recall anyone being unhappy with it. If you should decided to buy from RVW, OH weather permitting, suggest you stay the first night or two at Indian Lake CG, just down the road. If you have any problems you can run back to RVW or they will even send someone to you. My cousin and DH have about an '03 KZ TT and have been pleased with it. No major issues I know of. Good luck and keep us informed.

Be sure to compare mattress quality. Jayco uses a much firmer/supportive mattress material than any other HTT manufacturer I've seen.

RVW must be driving local prices down. I saved $4000 driving from Cleveland to Lakeview for our Roo 23SS. There are a myriad of interior decor options now that we didn't have.
Buy now and you'll get a 2012 model, Buy in June and you'll get one titled as a 2013 model.

Actually we had some issues sleeping with our Jayco mattress, ended up buying a 2" queen size memory foam topper at Kohl's.

I have read many posts on the mattresses. But i really think the memory foam does the trick quite well. We had this in our PUP when we had it. It made for a
much better nights sleep.

No doubt. I always recommend a foam mattress topper. Regardless of whether you like a supportive mattress, or a super-soft one, the foam topper eliminates the crease in between the two mattress halves. They're also inexpensive and stow well.

One thing we found that these Memory foam toppers are not all equal, Our first one we tried was very light and thinner than the Kohl's, ended up returning it after a camping weekend. The Kohl's was much more dense and heavy. In fact tough to roll up and store after trips but we sure do sleep better.
