We tow our smart car toad on a trailer so we have the ability to back into spots. If we do park in a truck row the noise is not too bad as our bedroom is in the back and their motors are at the front.
Casinos are without a doubt still our favourite overnighter. Best access and best security.
Are casinos basically like a Walmart or a Cracker barrel in the sense that 99% have no problem with overnight RVer's, or does it vary widely depending on the particular casino?
Good morning. Yes Casinos routinely accept and encourage RVers to stay overnight. It is quite often the case where the security vehicle see's you coming in, meets you, escorts you to an area and then gives you a card with the cell number of the free minibus to the casino. Usually lots of cameras etc. They are a great overnight spot, usually a good buffet, whatever you want them to be. We are not gamblers but enjoy the amenities and ambience. Occasionally they will have a co-located RV park but we never use them as we are usually just ubernachten and need no services.
We have never travelled a day without seeing a sign for a casino so there are lots along the way. They are still our preffered stops although anything beats a campground for an overnighter.

We have stayed at truck stops a few times, but they would be our last choice. Do not like the noise, but most of all, do not like the diesel fumes from the trucks running their engines all night. My wife is very sensitive to diesel exhaust fumes. There are much better places to park just for an overnight stay; you just have to look a little bit harder.

I do not like the trucks - especially if a sleepy drive hits you.
When traveling for multiple days I do prefer walmart, casinos, and flying j GAS parking

Yeah, rv drivers should worry about trucks backing into them!

It is convenient to stay near the main roads just for over night. If your trip to the next camp sight is a 2 day haul. We try to use the rest areas on the roads though.
