Hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, and just sitting by the campfire enjoying some hot choco and mallows with the kids. Oh and having a great excuse to get a really long nap every now and then.

Hiking, mountain biking, swimming, paddling, off-roading. Our MH serves as home base when we adventure race. Then afterwards, sitting around a campfire drinking adult beverages.

When camping in our RV we like to read or watch movies in the evening. We've done the sitting around the campfire thing for many years and decided it's now usually too much work - especially putting out the fire 11 or 12 at night when we're tired.
During the day, we like exploring (driving) back roads in the RV or walking/hiking not too far away from the RV looking for rocks or birds or fish ... to collect or photograph or catch.

It depends on who's camping with us?
*The adult kids? They do their own thing during the day and touch base with us in the evening with a cookout and campfire.
*My mentally handicapped 16 yr old? We do a lot of walking with him. A LOT of walking. Some swimming if it's warm, and some cooking out. And more walking.
*Just DH & me? we read, walk, swim, go to museums, cook out, visit national historic sites, watch DVDs, lots of low key activities(DH is disabled too.)
**Me and my camping crazy sister? We hike, we go to national parks, we quilt & sew & read & watch funny movies. We don't get to do it nearly often enough, but when we get together we have an absolute blast!

Finding a new area and exploring what it has to offer. That cuppa in the morning and glassa in the afternoon under the awning watching the world go by is at the top of the list and there is nothing that compares to staring into the fire with a good scotch in hand watching the moon and stars appear in the background.
