Ricky, LTV are very high quality and a great choice for B, another unit I think compares would be Coach House, they are out of Florida, LTV is out of Canada.

I love my Libero. I considered the Unity, but decided against the Sprinter because of service issues in the prairie states... decided to stick with a Chevy.

You might also look at the Triple E Regency which is the same Murphy bed floor plan as the Unity on a Ford:

We've got a Free Spirit and are really impressed with the quality. When we trade, we'll most likely get another Leisure Travel.

mumkin, why did you not like the Unity? We are just starting our search an really like what we read about the LTV. Only problem is there is no dealers close to us so we can look at them. Closest one is in Florida and Missouri I think.

We had one of the first MB Cruisers with the diesel eng and got really good fuel mileage. Don't know how these are on fuel since they are heavier than the MB Cruiser.

It wasn't so much that I didn't like it, but as I mentioned, I decided to avoid a Sprinter based RV because it is so difficult to find service in the prairie states. Mercedes dealers are few and far between and the Freighliner shops will very often not work on them either. There are few places in the country where you can't find someone who knows how to work on a Chevy (or Ford).

I loved the large bathroom, but don't need a queen sized bed, nor do I need a dinette. I removed half of the dinette in my Libero.

I went with the Libero due to the MB chassis being lighter with less power (I tow a vehicle often) and I don't know who provides service, the Chevrolet is easily serviced. I also like the extra 1000 lbs of chassis rating.

Just got a Unity 24MB (Murphy Bed) Haven't had it long enough to give any tried and true pros or cons... Just one quick observation - because of the dinette and bed being in the slide out, there are no seat belts -- even a warning that the dinette is not for sitting in while vehicle is in motion. So, in essence this large van can ONLY carry 2 people. Still checking to see if seat belts can be installed )seems doubtful). Other than this, we are excited about learning to "downsize".
