We're new to the HTT world to the point that we haven't camped in our new rig yet! We have a 2011 Shamrock 233S.
My question is this... what do you all do as far as bedding goes? Do you take everything off the mattress when you pack up, or do you "fold up" with sheets, etc. How about the addition of mattress toppers? If you take it all off, where to you put it / store it while in travel.
Thanks for any thoughts and advice.

When we get back from a trip and we're not going out again for awhile... I'll wash all the bedding and store it in zippered collapsible containers in the closet or on the bed. Then it's ready and on board for the next trip. I don't want a nest of spiders or mice to surprise me.
If you are going out on weekends, coming home for the week and then going out the next weekend, you're not going to enjoy taking the bed apart and putting it back together again. We finally bought sleeping bag liners... they are soft to sleep in...kinda like fleece... and they can zip together so two can sleep together. Then I just slipped them between the blankets. It was just easier to just wash them instead of everything else all the time.

Thanks... are you in a HTT? It sort of sounds like your in a TT or similar?? My question is unique to the HTT crowd.

I put the mattrices in the barn. We use air mattrices and sleeping bags, sheets and quilts/comforters for bedding. Bags get rolled up and the bedding gets folded up and place on the seat during travels. With out the orginal mattrice the tent ends fold up easily. The air mattrices gives my wife more sleeping comfort that the thin mattrice that came with our rig. We have a Palomino S17 HTT.

Ben, we use actual sheets and we take them off after each trip because we only go out about every 3 weeks and we don't want to leave the "dirty" sheets in there. After washing them, we put them in a tupperwear bin inside the camper. I hope this helps. Oh, I'm in Florida and sometimes we don't bathe our kids every day in a camping trip... that's why we think the sheets are dirty

We use sheets, blankets and such. They are removed, folded, put in zippered storage bags (that you get quilts in), and stored under the dinette for travel. The topper gets folded length Wise in half then rolled up and strapped. It just sits on the floor when traveling. Sure glad we only have to fuss with one bed.

Ditto, sheets, blankets, quilt. I strip the sheets after every trip, even just a weekend, just because I like to start a trip with nice, fresh smelling sheets. I just fold ours and they have their assigned spot in a cabinet. In our 23SS there is a full length shelf above the front bunk and a shorter one in the rear. I just fold the blankets and they store up there along with a couple of fleece throws for chilly evenings outdoors. The quilts get folded up and store in a cabinet under the bunks. Many folks prefer the sleeping bag route, but we're the sheet/blanket type. We are perfectly fine with our standard heated mattress, therefore, no topper of any kind.

Sleeping bags that are rolled up and stored in the ROO until the next outing. We clean them two or three times a year and when the season ends. We store in large trash bags when not being used. Works well with us for both set up and tear down.

We use regular sheets, quilt and pillows. They are all taken off the beds at the end of every close-up and up and put into one large lidded rectangular plastic bin that stays on the floor. Throw cushions on the sofa also are kept in this bin. The sheets and pillow cases are washed every so often during the year, whenever they need washing.

We use sleeping bags, mainly because we had them before using the HTT. We also acquired an additional pad for the mattress that makes it more comfortable. As for storage we lay them out over the dinette during storage and wash them a few times a year. Our mattress fold in half and store foleded into the panel that closes up. Knock on wood we have not had any spider or mice issues but I like the idea of storing the sleeping bags in plastic bags...
