I replied to a previous post - same subject more or less. I ordered replacement parts; igniter, gas tube, regulator and just installed them. That pretty much makes it a new grill. As previously stated my only real issue with the Weber 120 was the poor gas (read heat) control.
Well guess what... when I fired the grill up with the new regulator I couldn't believe the difference. Seems the original regulator was defective. And even at that over the last 3 years, I always thought it was a pretty darn good grill. NOW... WOW... aside from having to learn how to cook on THIS grill - I can't wait to use it.

I have the Q100 grill and it does a great job. Actually I like it better than my bigger Q200 which I think has regulator issues. Between that and the safety valve on the 20# tank lighting is a time delay type operation. I have to turn the tank valve on at least five minutes before lighting the grill otherwise the flame will go out in a few seconds. Weber has recognized that issue on their website.
Where did you buy your parts and did you get good prices on them?

Re afety valve
Try turning the tank valve very slowly.Turning the valve too fast makes the safety valve "think" there is a big leak and automatically cut off.I was about to junk my Q100 untill I found that out.Now...
Love that grill!

Would be curious about where you ordered the replacement parts and how much they cost?

I had regulator issues with my 2 year old Q200. I called Weber and they sent me a free replacement.

I have a Weber Silver A at home and a baby Q for the RV. Both are great grills.
Just wish I could find a source for replacement prongs/bracket (for lack of a better term) for the spit on the rotisserie attachment. The prongs on mine separated from the bracket. Tried J-B Weld with well-cleaned surfaces, but it lasted for only one rotisserie session.

Weber is a great company to deal with and has excellent warranty service, from my experience.

I have a Weber Grill at the house for years and I have been very satisfied. I see a lot of posts and recommendations for the Weber Q120 and other Q Series models.
Comparing the Weber Q120 with the Coleman Road Trip LXE, I noticed that the Weber has a 8,500 BTU burner vs 20,000 BTU on the Coleman. The Coleman is slightly larger: 285 Sq In vs 189 Sq In.
Price wise, they are about the same.
Does the Weber get hot enough to get a good sear on steaks, etc.?
Thanks.

I just got a new Weber fold up stand for my Q from Santa. Then I ordered a pair of their fold up side trays that attach to my Q. I love that thing!
