Dollar Tree has 40 bags (used to be 50 but inflation you know) for ...

you guessed it....

ONE DOLLAR!

Smallish, dark colored bags, with handles. Works for us.

They are good for the size of dogs we have, but to be honest they wouldn't doo the job for the output of a larger breed.

Not exactly an interesting or thought provoking thread Walter... but we have to doo what we have to doo.... Lots of doo going on around here.

I also use the bone shaped dispenser that attached to the leash, so there is nothing extra to carry. Think I am getting lazy in my old age, do manage to pick up after my little guy and gal

I use "one quart" sized low cost plastic bags. Designed to use twist ties, I toss the ties and just knot the bag after use. Cost is next to nothing (you can buy a box of 100 bags for a buck) and almost every grocery store has them. One box for the home, one for the truck, one for the trailer

I use the diaper disposal bags from the $ Tree. They are small and thin but strong. Might not be big enough for the large dogs, tho. They are 70/$1, now.

We use the bags from Petsmart and Petco on trips. At home we use sandwich bags to pickup poop and then the bags goes into one Petsmart bag and into the trash.

Oh, this is funny. I'm a Wal-mart or Dollar General bagger, myself, and I have to agree that there is nothing more disgusting than trying to pick up the poop of a 95 lb dog with a Wal-mart bag with a hole in it....ewwwww.

I usually use disposable latex gloves, grab the poo and invert the glove. One glove usually does the trick.

That's what I call getting a good feel for the job. You must be a real "hands on" kinda guy.
