Hi
OK....Ive checked RVPark reviews and googled it and even did a search on here(not much here for info)...so has anyone stayed here(at Davis Camp) your opinion, any specific site numbers. Im thinking of going up this week through New Year's...I would normally stay at the Riverside RV Park(Nevada) but their pricing over the 30th and 31st doesnt make it all that appealing. Im also considering just "dry camping" at the River Palm's Parking lot, from RV Parks review, this appears to be the best no/low cost alternative plus it would be a real adventure than.

I dont know what they charge , but there is a lot of rv parks In Bullhead City
you might call the SWR park (Ridgeview) in Bullhead City (( 1-928-754-2595
it is right across the the river from the Riverside Hotel up on the hill next to the airport

camp davis is a nice, shady campground and the rates are pretty reasonable, about $25.00 for full hookups.

Last time we stayed there it seemed like there were a lot of permanent residents but they all seemed to be in one area. We chose to stay in an area overlooking the river that only had water and electric. Loved the site. you can also get sites right on the river with no hookups.

Thanks for the replies....I was thinking that maybe the water-electric sites might offer a better view of the River based only on the WEB page. Havent made a decision yet whether I want to drive up or not....knowing me, Ill procrastinate enough that it will be next year before I make a decision...lol

It can get windy along and in the river valley. Be prepared if the wind comes up. It is close to a busy interesection and the bridge going to Lauglin. As mentioned there are plenty of "permanent" residents but arrive during the day and shop your site. There are plenty of FHU parks in the area and casino boondocking. A couple of nights at Davis camp should allow you to shop another location.

The permanent resident spaces could use some real cleaning up. Other than that area it didn't look to bad.

The permanent residents is the main reason I was asking about it....but I guess for a few days, I could manage and if I arrive early enough, hopefully my choices will be a tad better....Ill let you all know if I go....Thanks everyone.
