I use an Adirondac mouse trap, works great.

Here are some previous threads on this often-asked question:

Mice posted 12/22 in Snowbirds

Why mice posts are in Class A and Snowbirds is, well, a decision not up to me.

Ultrasonics has worked for us for over 20 years. We use Transonic Pro.

Just don't use those glue traps that some dysfunctional, sadistic people use. It's hard to believe that any reasonable human being would use a product that would submit an animal to such a agonizing death.

Not to be a smart guy, (DW believes that impossible anyway), but a few years ago we helped out DW's coworker and took 3 kittens off her hands. They got a good home, and we got a reduced mouse problem. Win/win. If that's not possible in your situation, and you have access to your rig, try closing up any entry points, and then place a few snap traps inside. Check them every couple of days, empty and reset as needed. I've never had much luck with any of the scented products, oils, dryer sheets, etc.

With no snap traps set, I had an invasion of mice several years ago. I now set about ten traps throughout the motorhome. I now have caught maybe one each storage season. I think a lone forager goes out on a recon mission and later brings more back with him. Now he checks in and doesn't check out(MIA). No more problems per se. I use the Victory traps with peanut butter bait. Yum!

I also keep two in the engine compartment of a vehicle I have stored under a portable garage outside.

Decon near each tire. If it's outside and you have to worry about pets, put it under a can with a mouse size hole punched in it near the ground. Put brick or rock on top of the can.
