There should be a decal somewhere on the ramp that tells you load rating.

There were two options on the 2011, the standard 3000 lb. Door and the larger I think 5000 lb. Upgrade.
Ours is rated at 3000. Despite the fact that nothing heavier than 1500lbs has been run up and down no more then half a dozen times, it's developing a definite crease right up the middle.

Can you post photos of the crease?

It's a bit hard to see but it's there on the camera side of the tip of the V

The crease is much more obvious on the inside. I checked a photo we took before we bought the rig an the crease wasn't there.

I have the same crease on the inside. No issues on the outside. Can the other Voltage owners on the site chime in on this and report if they have issues developing!
We may all be in the same boat.

We haven't used our 3905 for toys yet. Hmmm .... hope the day we do, we don't see that crease developing.

I showed hubby the pictures ... he thinks it looks like two sheets of plywood installed side by side .... which doesn't make any sense at all ...

Despite not making sense, I think your hubby might be right.

Joe

Keep us posted on what your dealer tells you. I won't be able to bring mine in until the end of January.

Just to bring you up-to-date on the Voltage ramp issue: dealer said Dutchmen said there is no heavy duty ramp but I have heard here that there is. So I called the ramp manufacturer (Lippert) directly and asked them. They said there is no such thing as a heavy duty ramp for the Voltage.

They also told me that my replacement ramp is in production and that there has been a change made to the manufacturing process (no details). They said that my problem isn't common but there are a few. I said I'd try the new ramp. They said "If there are any problems with the new ramp call us back and we'll get on it".

We'll see what happens...

Yeah, no such animal as a heavy duty ramp.
