I like Domaine St. Michelle Champagne .... it's about $9.00/bottle and the Brut is very good.

J Rojet Spumanti. My wife and I love it and it is the least expensive Spumanti that we have found.

A bar I once worked served a Champaign Brunch on Sundays. They served splits of of a champaign named "Chateau Laurent". When you say that out loud, it comes out "Chateau Low Rent". Only one I've ever seen with a screw-on cap. BTW, we didn't send the bottle to the table.

Wasnt that like $1.99 a bottle? In the same league, Id bet you drank Boones Farm Strawberry Hill too...
My wife used to give me $1.00 each workday for lunch. After a long argument, I won. Now she gives me $5.00 every Monday.

Haven't had it in a while, but the Mumm Brut used to be pretty good.

If you want a sparkling wine on the sweet side I recommend Asti Spumante. Martine & Rossi makes an excellent one but there are others. Enjoy
