I am not sure of my post count but I have been here a while and have dealt with General on the purchase of a used TT and I would never buy anything from them again. I don't have time to lay out all the details right now but I do not doubt the OP's story at all

Why in the world would you NOT want to know about an iffy dealer? Dealerships have all sorts of advertising at their disposal; this is our forum for hearing about how individuals have been treated there. If someone has had a good experience there, I hope they tell about it. I come here for information, don't you?

I have no reason to doubt the OP, as this is not the first time I have heard bad experiences reported about this dealer.

Have bought three RV's over the years from one of their original stores in Mt. Clemens, MI. Have had no issues. Would use them again in a heartbeat. So opinions do vary.....

 Dang, I live in central IL and bought my Laredo from General RV up in MI, think around Benton Harbor.
What a slick deal. I did a contract via email and shot them a grand down.
Smoked up there and completed the walk thru and went into the office and paid them. A great deal.
Then I had problems with the slide ram in the bedroom after returning to IL. They sent me a new one and I sent the old one back - they paid the freight. As I recall the hyoung lady in the service dept that took care fo my parts needs was Candice.
I am still a happy camper and give that dealership the thums up.
