I have to applaud you for getting up the gumption to go camping alone. I too would be devastated, and it is a hard thing to imagine. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you continue your travels. You really will never be alone though, that little furry family will surely fill in a lot of space!!

I hope you have a wonderful trip. I wish I had some wisdom to help you out. I am glad that you are heading out there. I can't imagine what you are going through. Make sure to get out and meet people, socialize.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
I believe that as you do things that you enjoyed together, you may find peace and feel her presence.
In any event, I wish you the best.

I am so sorry for your loss! I think there are venues for single RV' ers check around. And as said do socialize and meet new people at the RV parks. You will find you are not alone and you can find new friends which will help fill the loss.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. 7 yrs ago I lost my wife of 23 yrs to that dreaded beast cancer. I had to prove to myself that I would be OK and could still live on. Although I didn't RV at the time I did enjoy Motorcycling, so I did a week long Motorcycle trip from the Napa Valley up to Fort Brag and back down the Pacific Coast to Pismo Beach. Each day I saw new sights, met new people and survived my first vacation alone. Even as hard as that trip was I can look back on it now and cherish this first journey.
Good luck, and keep living.

Don, I am sorry for your two losses. I know some of your pain. My wife died after thirty six years of marriage and it was all hard. After several years I started to RV travel with my dog all over.
I have found my hound “Kate” is the best greeter when on the road. There is always something missing for awhile. But there are so many wonderful people to meet out there the any trip is worth it.
