As the subject states I'm wondering about pushing my camper around on my dolly. I'm in a spot that doesn't allow for the use of a winch or truck for that matter. I drop my truck and I am currently pushing/pulling on the jacks to move it into its spot on my Lance dolly. Do you guys see any problem with pushing on the jacks? Doesn't seem to bother them, just don't want to screw them up. For what it's worth I'm pushing the camper about 10 feet on flat concrete.
Thanks!

Uhhh yeah! If your pushing the TC across the cement on the jacks. The jacks will rip out of the wood they are screwed into. Build a dolly with wheels to lower it down onto and then push it where you want it. THEN lower the jacks just enough to hold it there. You can see how to build a dolly here;

I push pull on mine all the time. Just put pressure near the bracket, I wouldn't run them down and go yankin on them.

It's on wheels, just woried about the stress by pushing on the retracted jacks.

As long as the jacks are not supporting the weight, you can push on them all you want, just don't push down at the bottom of the jack where it's not connected to the camper.

Not sure I follow... What would you be "screwing up?"
It's on a dolly on flat concrete... You could probably push on the window screens to move it around, and not cause any damage.
The jack mounts are the strongest part of the camper structure because each one has to be able to handle anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 the weight of the camper. The measly amount of force one person can apply isn't going to cause any problems.

I'm sure I'm just over thinking it. I hear creaking when I push the camper, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. I figured that the jacks were the strong point....

I push mine around on any convenient point - sides, jacks, bumper, whatever.
I will raise the camper off the dolly one end at a time to turn the wheels. That way I do not fight the wheel pivot to move it. My dolly has pivots on all four corners. Once the wheels are lined up with the direction I want to travel, the camper rolls very easily. Just a nudge will move it along.

I would not push it around by the jacks. Attach something to the dolly. The jacks are not designed for forces like that. They are designed to hold a camper going up and down, you have the potential of weakening the mounting points by doing this. Google Camper jack failures, or where jacks have pulled away from the corners of the campers. Not an easy and pleasant fix or situation.

I just got the Rieco-Titan dolly, it doesn't seem to like going over cracks, it gets stuck.
