I will be in Nashville 1 or 2 days arriving tomorrow, Tuesday. Where do we park our 5th wheel to go to the Grand Old and walk down the street to hear some music? Thanks for your time.

If I was there on Tuesday night I would not miss the "Doyle and Debbie" show at the Station Inn. I would see them before I went anywhere else!!

Rv parks high there. We just returned from a rv rally there and stayed at Two Rivers Campground, $45/nite (group rate). Our host told us the KOA charges $70/nite and Jellystone Park, $66/nite. They're all located about 2 miles north of the Grand Ole Opry They have a huge parking lot, but doubt they would let you put your rv there. It wasn't full by any means when we went, the parking lot I mean.

The Opry is in the Opryland entertainment/shopping/resort complex, no street to walk down, rather big parking lots.
I've seen RV's parked in the more remote areas of the Opry Mills shopping center, that would get you within a mile or so of the Grand Old Opry theater. There is also a bus parking area. I don't know what the rules are, haven't tried it myself. I am usually at the KOA when I bring the RV, or I stay with someone in town when I don't.
If you are thinking about parking a RV somewhere in downtown Nashville for a visit to the Ryman, when something is going on at the Ryman or the stadium, stop thinking about it. If something is going on downtown, it is a struggle to find a parking space for a compact car.
While technically in Nashville (because the whole county is city/county metro government), the Opry is no longer in Nashville proper, it is in the eastern suburbs around a bend in the river from the west side of Nashville, across the river from east Nashville, at the Gaylord complex. You were thinking it was downtown, maybe?
P.S. The better music venues are in town, the clubs and bars. Pick up one of the several "what's going on" weekly/monthly papers distributed at many restaurants to see what is where.
Opryland has the big show for tourists, with a regular cast and program, and big name guest artists.

To walk the music is in a completely different area then the Opry. To stroll the music street you would have to go downtown where the Ryman is. Down there you'll find all the budding music talent, concert halls and the country music hall of fame. The Ryman and the Opry are about 15 miles apart.
Don't listen to the previous poster on parking. We drove down every night in a F350 Crew Cab and parking couldn't have been easier and there were a couple concerts going on.
We stayed at the COE campground at J. Percy Priest Reservoir.
