Just wondering if anyone out there has a 2012 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8312SS with the standard dinette? In the Forest River/Rockwood Brochure it shows an 'outside storage' behind the sofa. I've looked everywhere on line to try to prove or disprove this. Can anyone help me with this, please ! ! Thank-you, in advance ! !

Found this photo. It kinda hard to see, but it shows a storage door on the slide-out. Looks to be behind the couch.

Our 2010 Rockwood Signature Ultra-Lite 8315BSS has storage underneath/behind the couch in the slide out. It's not something I like though because in the winter time you can feel a draft coming from behind the couch so we stuff blankets in the opening to insulate it.

We have a 2012 8312SS and camping right now in it. Ours has the u dinette though and the storage is under the seat up against the wall. I am pretty sure if you get the standard booth the storage moves uner the sofa. If this is true, then I would also assume you can not get an airbed sofa and have to get the jack knive. We have the air bed and would not want a jack knive again. An advantage with the booth though is you get overhead compartments like you do over the couch and a slightly bigger window but these 2 advantages did not outweigh have a u dinette and air bed.

Agree with Cecilt. We have booth and airbed - no storage door

MIlzat, thanks for the photo, I believe that storage compartment is behind the U-dinette and not the sofa.

HappyTrails2U2, thanks for posting. Do you have a jack-knife sofa ?

Cecilt, I ordered our 8312SS with the standard dinette with the hide-a-bed sofa with air mattress. The extra overhead compartments will be very useful for us. BTW, our camper should arrive mid-July ! !

Yep.

Ours is not a jack knife, but I do hope I have the additional outside storage compartment. Won't be the end of the world if it doesn't
