my roof was 20 years old and leaking for a few years. i patched with eternabond when ever i saw a crack in epdm orginal roof. then in jan. 2012 i coated with liquid rubber... some of orginal roof bubbled but after 3 weeks curing no too bad now. took several days of hard work...clean and coating. total cost $400 with supplies and have one gallon left over for future patching.
now the only leaking is drivers window and passenger side window when wind driving rain is present...possibly need new weather striping sliders.
when u play in the sand .... you can get stuck

IT has been almost a year, and the roof is doing great so far!
There is no seam from the drivers side to the passenger side, except where the roofing meets the A/C gasket, that I did not replace, it is not leaking in that area (never had leaked there) so nothing to patch.
Best part is no more white streaks!!! The old EPDM is designed to flake off slowly, to keep it's white coating clean, and that caused white streaks down the sides of RV's.

Sounds like a great idea. I guess asking for pictures again is not going to persuade you though. We are visual creatures and I don't think 1000 words will accomplish what one image will. You can do it, just one pic.

More pictures that I took a few days ago to post pictures of my solar panels, and their mounts. Some pictures are really close up pictures of the solar panel mounts, and give a clear picture of howrough the surface is.

I used amesresearch.com liquid rubber on mine. I came to this as my basement was leaking from the outside in. Not wanting to dig up and waterprrof fromt he outside I reseached and found this company. My basement has been high and dry for years. So if it works with water pressure it would work on roofing and it has there as well.

Painting rubber roof. Sounds like painting your car with Latex paint. Before you decide...check out "Davids Permanent Coatings" located in Green Cove Springs, FL. (South of Jacksonville). Lots of pictures on his process, he makes necessary repairs, all new vent covers and a/c gaskets, most of all he uses a coating made for the application that has a 20 year warranty. He coated my 40' toy hauler in Feb. 2011 and I'm very pleased with it.
