First, we were enjoying our stay so much, that we extended it by two days.

Second, Jellystone in Cosby, TN is an absolutely fantastic place to stay! I highly recommend it to anyone. They had great activities for the kids (when we were there). The entire campground was clean. The bathrooms were spotless. They had a problem with one of the bathhouses hot water system, which was fixed on wednesday, but the other bathhouse was working great. The owner and his family were all friendly and helpful. When we had the leak, he offered to help find it and offered caulking to fix the problem. My daughter loved going to the store and buying her Yoohoo everyday. She was nicknamed the "Yoohoo girl" by Dave (owner). We met several nice families there and my kids always had someone to play with.

We had an amazing campsite right on the stream. The water rushing down the stream was so relaxing and calming. Our fire ring was right at the back of the campsite, so we would sit there at the fire watching and listening to the rushing stream. Just perfection!

We had one night of heavy rains (ie the little dripping leak), but the rest of the weather was perfect.

The rest of our time we spent exploring the Smokey Mountain National
Forest. Hiked amazing trails and saw incredible waterfalls and sites.

We got home this evening and unloaded the camper. Tomorrow, she gets a good bath and recaulking of the clearance lights.

It was a great vacation.

View from the back of our campsite
Campfire at night with the stream in the background. Wish you could hear it too.

The views everywhere were amazing.

We have traveled to National Parks for 30 years, and always love them. Yellowstone and Acadia always feel like I've come back home when I am there, even though I live in Ohio. So glad you had such a great week. We love the Smokey's also.

Post some more pics! They look great. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Sorry I did not post earlier about hikes. It was just one of those weeks where murphy visited, and often!
