I don't have any of these but would like to travel from N. Dakota across Saaskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia into Alaska, then back down the coast.
It is not advisable to travel anywhere in North America without safety equipment, a spare tire and the knowledge of how to diy in an emergency!
Better to have a small generator - which can run things other than a coffee maker too! On the new rig we have a 9kw generator, that not only powers the heat and a/c units, but also a compressor. I have my air tools to bust out a tire and air it up on the spot. Since we are currently on the road headed for New Town tonight, my CB and cellphones are valuable tools.

We DID take a few things that we normally wouldn't worry about:
1/4" hardware screen between the radiator and the front grill. Originally, it was to "protect the radiator from stones" - but what it DID protect the radiator from that the millions of butterflies we encountered in Alberta, just N of the US border....LOL!
A spare air filter for the engine and dust masks for us - because the Augustine volcano was threatening to blow ash everywhere. It's quiet for now.
TWO (2) 4-gig Flash Cards for the camera because I knew we'd take a million photos :-)
Aside from that - our 55 gallon fuel tank was more than adequate; our cell phones worked in the larger cities; XM Radio worked for quite a ways into Alaska, and since we opted to stay in private campgrounds, we never used the generator since they all offered electric and water.
The one consistent thing we discovered: the people of Canada and Alaska are SO friendly and helpful, that *if* you need to pull over on the road, and have no cell service - just wait for the next car to come along, and someone will surely stop to help you!
