I am looking to buy my first trailer to do seasonal at the shore. I am looking at the 8000 to 11000 range. I seen this 94 Brekenridge and it looks nice except for the slideout which has a gap along the floor outside and rotted wood. Now the woman who owned this put ceramic tile in the kirchen and the slide out. Any advice? Can this just possibly need a new floor and about how bad of a job is that? Any way to tell if the ceramic in the kitchen is sound underneath and how can I check for leaks? The price is about 6000.

Run away far and fast.
Water damage doesn't usually come from beneath, it comes from above. I'd bet you'd find the roof and sides of the slide are rotten as well. Best to avoid that unless you can get it really cheap.

Water damage such as you have means that either the roof or the water system has, or does leak. It is the only thing that could account for it. In addition, to know what is under that ceramic tile, you will have to remove some of them. You might be able to see something from the underside, but if you are not well practiced at RV evaluations, I would at least get a professional opinion.
