Headin to Ft.Myers- anything I should be aware of- restrictions and such on I95, or I4? We are staying in Colleton State Park in S.C. Looks ok for the night- any thoughts? Thanks.

Rode thru Colleton State Park last winter while camping at Givans Ferry SP, not far away. Campground looked nice as far as state parks go. The roads were pretty rough throughout the park. But the Ranger there said the plans were to pave them in the near future. Don't know if they have commenced or if so, what progress has been made. I know the SP is easy access to and not far from the big road. Travel safe.

I think you're going south from NJ?
If so, and you're heading down 95, you'll have to bypass the Baltimore Harbor tunnels when carrying propane.
You have two options(east or west on 695-you'll see tunnel restriction signs as you approach Baltimore on 95)-my choice as best being 695 East towards the Scott Key Bridge (high bridge can be a little windy-straddle the two lanes if it is). The road's much better than it was years ago-pay attention as you go because some of the exit ramps can be confused as the Interstate(not to scare you-it's just a casualty of how they expanded and put together the road)
If you're going straight to Ft Myers, you may consider taking 295 west to 10 west out of Jacksonville and then 301 south-just a little different ride than the standard interstate run down I95 and across I4.
Finally, I'd recommend an EZ Pass for your rig too - makes everything much simpler(just don't try using it in Florida)

I second the route that Mark recommended in FL. I4 can be crazy and I'm happy to avoid it anytime I can.

If you have a motorhome, you can go through the Harbor Tunnel or the Fort McHenry Tunnel. I just drove through it twice in the last month and have several times in the past. The toll takers and the State Police didn't give me a hard time. The toll taker just asked if I was towing anything.
