We just bought a 2006 tioga 31m. Everything is good, but the dealer says there was no original equipment privacy screen for the area behind the driver and passenger seat. Can anyone tell me if there was such a thing on the new coach, and if so, how can we find one? I've contacted Fleetwoood, but haven't heard back from them. The shelf above the driver and passenger seats has a velcro strip, and there are velcro dots on the divider behind the seats. Any help would be appreciated.

Someone prolly lost it.
I'm sure it had one at one point...you could make one or a upholstery shop could.

We have a 2004 Tioga 26Q with the privacy curtain with matching velcro tabs. It should be fairly easy to make one. If you can find somebody with a Tioga or Jamboree at an RV park you could take measurements and pictures and copy the design. The alternative is a cover that goes over the windshield and side windows with snaps or velcro attachments.

We have both the privacy curtain and also purchased the cover that goes over the windshield. We prefer using the one that goes over the windshield and use it 98% of the time. The only drawback to the exterior one is taking it down in the rain. You have to let it dry out before storing it again to prevent mildew.
If you are interested in making a curtain let me know. I will be happy to measure it and send you some digital pictures of it.

Thanks to the three of you who replied. At this point, the issue is becoming one of customer service. We started out thinking the dealer (and salesman) dealt with us fairly, but now we think they made promises they never intended to keep. The promise was that they would get us the curtain. Now they say there was no such thing. I will continue looking, but in any case I intend to hold the dealer accountable. Their name may show up in this forum as one who isn't trustworthy. This is only one of the issues we have had with them.

We have a 2007 31W & never use the front curtain. We went to Easycurtain & purchased an inside front curtain that leaves the inside of the cab open for easy access. The site is www.easycurtain.net
Hope this helps.

Have you contacted Fleetwood Customer Service. They may be able to help you. Dealer personnel have been known to BS customers.

I get where you are coming from now. Yes, that curtain does come with all new class C motorhomes that I have seen. You should also note that manufacturers are notoriously slow to respond so I would give Fleetwood some more time.

It's unfortunate that some/many RV dealer's service departments personnel don't cooperate with the dealer's sales staff and manufacturer's warranty personnel.
The Customer is often caught in the middle.Service department managers often tell the Customer that the factory won't authorize a repair or replacement. When you call the factory, the authorization may go through. Perhaps service managers are under pressure from the factory to keep warranty repair/ replacement costs down. This is why I advise newbies to get references and call recent customers to find out if dealer after-sale warranty service is quick and acceptably done.
