Hi All!
Bought a new 2010 CRV to replace my trusty 2001 CRV. Had a local RV mobile mechanic put on the new base plate and wire the electrical. (We are full timers and stay in a park in CT). Took the car to his shop to do the base plate and then he did the wiring at our camp site. Did it this way so that we can be sure all works when the coach is connected and we did not have to drive to his shop. He did a good job. I got to see the entire process!
Lights worked fine when we left for Vermont yesterday, I stopped at a rest stop on the way and checked the lights again. Turns and brake work well. I did notice that the tow lights installed in the car are on when the motorhome is running. Just like I had the lights on in the coach. They were not on when we left.
Any idea what could have caused this? Not sure it is a bad idea to have them on while driving, but still it was not set up this way.
Thanks.

Are you sure it was tow lights and not brake lights?

Yes. Put on the turn signals and worked as planned. Pressed brake and lights got brighter.
