Boy IDK...I think I could pretty easily. How about you build me a 2011 that's not seriously (and now admittedly!) screwed up and defective. You either rebuild this one 20" back like the rest (in a timely fashion), or build me a 2011 with the same features as my TEII. How about make it right on your dime, and keep customer satisfaction?!! Not being able to build one is just total bull. They built them before right? Forget how? Take the items off this one if you have to...but just build it.

Personally, I'd make them take a serious look at the "take the money and run" options and not just throw it out there. Of course, you'd have to see what they're offering there, but I'd make them sweat a little about it.

I agree that striking while the iron is hot is the best course of action period. Whatever choice you make, I'd hammer it out *in writing* RIGHT NOW...not later. They can only soften as time goes on or as more claims may be made, not give you a better deal 2-6 months down the road. Right?

Man...I was afraid of this for you.

Good luck once again.

Or they could circle the wagons and try to defend themselves against a larger number of claims.

Mav, I can't remember if you said you had towing issues when it was not loaded with toys in the back. I have only towed with mine once when it was loaded. At that time I didn't notice any issues, but I was also too concerend with the truck and wasn't paying attention to any towing issues. Since I have upgraded the truck, I have only towed ~4000 miles without any toys in the back. My concern is once I get it loaded up and I'm not worrying about the truck issues, I may notice the same thing you did. On my last trip ~3500 miles towing, I had the trailer loaded pretty good, but never got to a scale to check pin weight. I will say though that it really made the rear of my 2011 F450 squat. I am really curious to see if they have numbers.

Thanks,
David

To much time and money for them to fix your unit, since it can't be done in an assembly line fashion. I'm sure they have no system to take them apart to that level economically. It is much cheaper to give you new unit at cost and either scrap or wholesale this to dealer. I don't know if rv's have buy back disclosure like cars.

I personally would push for a refund and get what I and wife want instead of taking what they offer, if the TE III is super cool call Holman's or someone and order it or pick it up.

When did the axle change occur perhaps there is a TEII floating around that will work.

I was just checking the specs on Fuzion's website they have the 2010 398 listed as 43' and the 2011 is 42' you may want to do some research if they give you a 2011 your losing a foot of trailer.

How about option #5. I'll send my wife down there to pack your camper. She is always sure to pack everything you could ever need in any situation. I am quite sure you will not be light on the tongue weight when she is done. I'll even pay for the 1 way ticket.

This is where I sit now. Drove 300 miles all over Colorado today and didn't find a single Keystone product that can do what my last TH could do. But I really didn't find any other brand either. I am still at a loss. I really don't want to wait, because I will miss most of this season. I'm freaking out now as it is. I miss it.

I will spend some time on the phone tomorrow trying to hammer this out with them.

I didnt' have any issues towing empty that I know of. It was loaded in any form that bothered me. Of course that's what it's for. I will get some clarification tomorrow on when the started moving the axles. Couse I looked at a few 398s today and alot online and they all have the axles in the same location as mine. My Dodge would squat to the overloads when the trailer was empty. But then again, the Mega Cab dually only has the same springs as the SRW Mega Cab.
