I miss the 2 pages of 10 Minute Tech! Now it is barely one page! That was my favorite section! I know I could buy the books but....

We as consumers need to teach them how to treat us. If we are not happy with a product we need to tell them why and act immediately by cancelling. Let them fix their magazine, tell you they fixed it, then resubscribe.
Flooding advertisements is really chapping my hide lately. Pulled into a Shell station to have the pump television on full volume show me commercials while I pumped gas. OH NO THEY DIDN'T! I stopped pumping gas, "told" the manager to turn my screen off, who said he couldn't, and i replied, "I will never get gas or convenience food here again until those tv's can be shutoff". Well thats how it went in my head at least, it might have contained a few curse words too.
We have to not let them get away with that. When purchasing a product we should not have to be SPAMMED with other products. I dont care if thats how you make money, you wont make my money! And if everyone else draws the line with me, then we can get them to make a change!
Back to the original subject, thanks for letting me know about Trailer Life, as I was considering subscribing, but now I will not.

When our grandchildren are selling something, now I make a check out to their group and tell them this way they can have it ALL instead of the measley 40% or whatever they end up with. I went this route after the neighbor kid sold me a package of fish & when I got my $11.00 package, it was about the size of the palm of my hand. Can you say "Rip Off" ? ?

You know I never thought of it that way, that is a GREAT idea. My DD is starting on the cheerleading team and going to be in many fundraisers over the next couple months, I might just try your concept!

Me too. Tired of the multiple pieces of cardboard printed with advertising and place in the magazine. Can't flip through the magazine without stopping on one of those stupid ads.
The last year or so of our subscription, the first thing I'd do is thumb through the magazine and rip out all the cardboard ads.
The magazine was much thinner after I got through with it.

That is exactly what I did with Readers Digest and Trailer Life! I can't stand all those ads forcing me to turn to their page! I tear them out and toss them - never read them.
I have not renewed my Readers Digest after over 20 years of subscribing. I still enjoy Trailer Life though, even if it has shrunk in the past year or so. As far as I am concerned, it could be twice a big.

I stopped renewing Trailer Life about a year ago and I started receiving Field and Stream, unrequested, and without sending any money or even a bill or subscription form. I've received about 10 issues so far. I don't know if these are related.

I just recently let me Trailer Life subsrciption lapse. I don't plan on renewing. I too didn't like all the cards inside, and the first thing I would do would be to pull those things out, unread, and throw them in the trash. I enjoyed the magazines, but I had them read through in about 20 minutes time. Also, I always wondered if the Moterhome Magazine ever had articles about trailers in them. I know that Trailer Life has done motor home articles from time to time. Anyone know?
