I know this has been gone over before but I thought I would ask again because in this topic things change so fast.

I am going to try to sell something on Craig's list. If I just use the photos on my computer I can only show 4.

I looked at listings of fifth wheels and tow vehicles that others have posted to get some ideas and some have the file name img and show many large photos.

I think I have to store my photos on a remote site and link to it to Craig's List show all my photos.

I tried this once before for my family photos and put in a lot of time on it but then found out that my family members had to join it before they could see my photos. Many did not want to join.

So, finally, my question is what is the best site to put photos on so you can use them on Craig's List?

AND, if I can ask 2 questions, will this also work on E-Bay?

Thank you for your time.

Ed

Take a look at "web shots.com" or "photobucket.com". both offer free membership and anyone can see the photos without joining anything as long as you designate the album as "public".

Subscribe to Photobucket and then go to this link and it will explain how to add pics to Craigslist. You can add as many as you like.

You can also upload your photos to sites like TinyPic.com (owned by Photobucket) or ImageShack.us without having to open an account and without bandwidth limits per se.

Thanks everyone for all your answers. One thing though, Mr. Wiz, I don't want to be overly critical but you obviously haven't bought or sold many items.

For example-

Tinypic.com is fine if you want to reference a photo once and forget about it after. There is no good way to manage your photos hosted by Tinypic.com. I've found some of my photos I put on Tinypic.com disappeared after a while. So I use Photobucket.com which is the same company but you can manage your photos and you probably could upload hundreds of them for free before you start running up bit rates where you would need to upgrade to a pay situation.
