As most already know, the Forums uses a secure(SSL) page for member login if using the Login link. However, if using an indirect method to login, such as clicking the Post New Topic, Reply to Topic, Subscribe, etc. links w/o being already logged in, then a member is redirected to a non-secure log in page? Just wondering why all login pages are not secure?

I've wonder the same thing. I noticed it over the week end when I was asked to (re)login to send a private message. I have taken a couple of screenshots and forwarded them to the technicians. However, our liaison is busy this week with the Rally in Louisville and hasn't responded.
If one is worried about it, the thing to do if a non-secure log in page is displayed is to immediately reopen the forum and log in.

While looking at that, how about taking care of the non-secure content that is presented on the https secure signon/signoff page. IE8, constantly asks if I want to view only the secure data when signing off. Been that way for months, with no change after notifications.

Concerning the IE unsecure resources popup, take a look at this thread here.

heres your problem - its the Good Sam Logo used for members
(img src="http://images.affinitygroup.com/webcontent/global/gs_badges/gsc_logo_badge_small.gif" border="0")
You shouldn't use an image from a HTTP source when trying to use SSL.
1. Download the image to your own server and change the reference path
2. Ask affinitygroup.com if you can src the image using https (img src="https://.....)
EDIT: This will have to be passed on to the Forum Developers. There's nothing the client (end-user, you) can do.

I think you're referring to mixed content on a secure connection. What I was referring to was the fact that not all Forum member logins use SSL. It depends on how one logs into the Forums as to whether it uses a secure connection or not.
