If your political extremism interferes with your BBQ, you got serious problems. I'd go to either convention for a piece of chicken dunked in Alabama White BBQ Sauce. Heck, for ribs I'd cheer and wave one of those little signs!
You can't let the unimportant things (like politics) get in the way of matters of REAL importance... like which region has the best BBQ.
