I am thinking about purchasing a 09 KZ Spree 324 BHS to tow with my 04 Yukon XL. Will I have any troubles with this?

If my quick research is correct, the trailer you are considering is almost 34 feet and 7500 lbs GVWR. That's asking an awful lot of you 04 Yukon.
Since it is a bunk house, I'm guessing that you will be traveling with more than 2 people....kids and all their stuff also. That equals lots more weight and will significantly subtract from the Yukon's payload (based on a stock model with one 150 lb driver).

Hopefully others will give you a more positive answer. Good luck with your choice.

I have to agree with downtheroad. I would look for something closer to 30' and 7000 lb GVWR or less. Our Tango was that size and it towed great.

Not sure how much difference there is between what your 04 yukon will tow VS my f150 both are 1/2 tone rite??
My truck works for it but it seems fine.. I plan to keep the truck for anouther year or two then upgrade to a 3/4 tone.

first, this is a towing question, so it should be posted on the Towing or Tow Vehicles Forums.

second, this trailer is not a hybrid, it's a regular TT.

third, this trailer should be towed by a 3/4 ton TV.

There is a lot more metal in the Yukon than a pickup. Therefore that leaves less towing capacity, TV+Trailer= GCVW (gross combined vehicle weight) to work with. I think that is too much trailer for the Yukon. Without more information I good guess is that the Yukon has a 3.43 rear which will further limit the towing capacity. Need to break out the VIN and verify the rear end ratio from the owners manual or local dealer.

Likely OK for around the area towing, but I'd decline to take the unit to colorado or Wyoming. The trans is just not made for that towing load.

Good luck?

I've been trying to figure out the same thing, how much my '04 Suburban will tow. Here is what I've figured out

Suburban empty 5200 lbs
People and gear 800 lbs.
GCWR 13000 lbs

That leaves me 7000 lbs to tow. Now if I had 4:10's instead of 3:73's, the GCWR goes up to 14,000 lbs.

That trailer looks to be right within the numbers. I can't remember now but it looked a little heavy on the tongue, mine says 600 lbs max tongue weight.

You need to consider the tow vehicles GVWR as well. Your 800 lbs of people and gear would get subtracted from your available payload, leaving the amount availble for tongue weight.

Went and weighed my Suburban the other night, 6220 lbs with a full tank of fuel, me and my two boys, ages 5 and 3. Mine is a Z71 with all the options.
