I bought the Camp Chef Expedition 3X at Costco a couple of years an and I really like it, except I find it hard to clean under the grate. There are 4 screws that hold the grate on and they look hard to remove (looks like on purpose) and harder to put back on.
I can't find anything on the web on how to clean the burners and under the grate so there must be a really obvious way to remove this thing that I am missing.
If I remove the screws am I looking for heartburn? Any cleaning tips?

I have the 3 burner Big Gas grill and I have the same problem. If it get really dirty I remove trhe four screws and clean it otherwise I turn on the air compressor when I get home and blow it out. Great stoves though.

When my Expedition gets really dirty I just undo the screws and take it apart. It is not hard to take apart or put back together. I just use some canned air to blow any pieces out that get in there (like you use to clean your computer keyboard).
I also use my Expedition to start my charcoal chimney instead of those smokey newspapers. Just put over one of the burners for a minute or two on medium will get the charcoal off to a good start.
I keep my Expedition set up on my patio during the summer when I'm not on the road. I keep it covered with the pation cover from www.outdoorcooking.com.
I use it all the time and love it.

Camp Chef stove was the best investment I ever made! I haven't purchased any of the other options yet, what do you suggest I get?

I got the two burner BBQ box and although I prefer to cook with charcoal it works good for cooking chicken, oysters, vegetables etc. I'm not sure if it will work on your model stove. You can go to their website and it will tell you what models it fits. I think your stove is better built than mine and may have wind shields that would prevent it from fitting.
