Does anyone have a pic of bikes being carried on the ladder? 2 bikes if you can. What type of carrier do you use. We are considering taking some bikes but would like to carry them on the ladder if we can.

I don't have a pick to share of carrying bikes on a ladder, but that's how I carry one and two bikes. The brand is called Topline and it is attached through one of the rungs and then lots of straps and bungies.

I use my old used $50 Murray Monterey one-speeder with chrome fenders for taking to ride at Nascar races we go to. It's got a cup holder attached for carrying a beer when I ride.

My wife and I also have Giants that we often take camping. They're fairly light and not too heavy when we carry both on the ladder. These bikes are handy for short rides around the campground and to the store or beach. Actually we usually prefer to walk for exercise and do that daily when camping.

My wife and I have Electra Townies. All aluminum ... light, easy to peddle.

I used to ride a Cannondale touring quite a bit but got away from it. With the Townies, we ride with sandles or barefeet if we choose. These bikes brought back some fun in riding ... we ride our neighborhood in loops often and I enjoy just lingering along while we talk and visit or just hang-out at a coffee shop.

I rigged up a board in the bed of my pick-up with the front fork wheel clamps. Quick load and go ... run a cable lock through the frames and bed for on the road.

My wife and I just bought ours. I have a Forge Saranac crossover and she has a Forge Devon, also a crossover. Both are 21 speed and are good for light trail and road. Very comfortable. I can't wait to get to Yellowstone next month and try them out there.

Now, If I can just figure out how to get them there

We have a pair of Trek 7200's, and really love them. We keep ours inside the camper.

We have two Dahon folding bikes we purchased from Camping World. I made clear vinyl zippered bags for both of them and they ride on our cab overhead bed that we primarily use for storage.

My wife and I have Trek bikes. Hers is a hybrid style and mine is a mountain bike. I would like to get a road bike sometime soon.

We carry them on a hitch-mounted Yakima rack on the back of our motorhome when we don't tow the car. When we tow the car the bikes fit nicely inside the back of our Honda Fit toad.

We just returned from a week's stay in Petoskey, MI. We love the Little Traverse Wheelway trail which extends from Harbor Springs to Charlevoix (26 miles). Very beautiful ride with fantastic views of Little Traverse Bay.

We rode 113 miles during the week and had a blast.

I have a Cannondale Adventure - I guess it would be called a hybrid. All I know is that it is one fast bike for a guy 65 to be riding. I can no longer pedal with the best of them, but this bike makes up for my shortfalls in energy and technique.

We run with two electric bikes on a bike rack that is in the hitch on the tow. Works for us 30 miles at 18 mph between charging. We chain and cover them while in route
