Actually, the thought started rolling around my head when I was writing that last post. I'll inquire. I can't be the only crazy single RV'er in the Intermountain West. LOL

You go girl! Life doesn't happen to you...make it happen for you!
I wish you the very best of luck in your endeavor. If nothing else, you may meet some very interesting people - maybe start a blog on dating and the rv'ing life?

Getup'ngo, I live in the Houston area. For the first several months after losing my wife of 50 years I didn't care about anything. Now, I am RVing with several groups (Good Sam, LoW, fiberglass RV GTGs). But, I also attend Parents without Partners events, several churches have singles events (you don't have to belong to their church to participate), networking events in the small business world are available to anyone who would like to attend. While I don't expect to find Mz Perfect, I do expect to find someone to share discussions with, or help with their computer if they have problems. Facebook friends bring events to my attention that allows me to mingle with a lot of people.
Yes, I still get lonely, but I am coming to grips with it gradually. If you want to PM me, I will try to help point out opportunities available to you even in Utah. Sometimes it helps just to chat with someone else about your situation that can relate.

Thanks Bill. Wow. Fifty years together. I'm sorry for your loss. It appears that you have made a decision to live -- what an inspiration. Thanks for sharing with me.

If our paths should cross you can rest assured that I (and my wife) would ask you to pull up a chair. You sound like a neat lady; someone I would like to get to know.

You do sound like a really neat person Getup'ngo... I too have been single but not d/t being widowed...and it can be very lonely. But, I have a PIC now and enjoy our Rving a great deal. But, back to you - you sound cool and write very well, I think you should write a book that incorporates your RVing... PIC quest (meaning that in the most spoitive way) and adventures... Heck it sounds like a winning reality show. If we ran into you in our travels we would so much love to hang around the wee propane campfire with a bottle of wine and hang out.... keep puting yourself out there.
