Love it so far, all 4 quads fit like a dream. it is in the shop right now getting the frame re inforced, $400, and while there I decided to have them roll the axles, or better said, re mount the axles with the springs on top giving me another 5 inches of clearance, and being I pull it with a lifted truck there will be no problem keeping level.
I have a 2006 WW FS2300, did the repair shop use the suggested fix for your repair?

Slightly off topic, but I thought someone would appreciate it.

I discovered parts of the old Weekend Warrior web site are still out there.

My 07 SLC3905 is showing signs of pinbox cracking. The front closet floor is raising and the fiberglass around the pinbox is bowing. I was wondering if I should dig into this and repair it or is it covered under the class action?

Thanks in advance.

I did not do anything to the tongue as upon inspection it had already been re enforced. I did show the repair shop the suggested repair and he did agree with it, if that helps you at all.

Tried to scan the 40 pages for a definite answer....but want to confirm. I am looking at purchasing a 2007 FS2300. If I understand correctly, the 2007 should not have the frame issues, but can have the leaking roof issue? Any other items to be aware of?

Going to check out the unit today.

I really appreciate any info/assistance.

Thank you!

2007 should not have the frame issue. Measure the thickness of the tongue steel it should 3/16 thick. haven't heard of the leaking roofs but just have the guy run his water hose on it for 10 minutes while your inside looking at it.

I have a 2007 FS2300 and it leaked across the front. I returned to the dealer 3 times and finally fixed it myself. This summer we towed out west with our harley in it and burnt the first outer wheel bearing out in Cody,Wy and the next time it was an inner and outer both in Oh returning home. I always kept them greased with synthetic grease and after the first episode I took it to an RV dealer in Cody and he pulled all 4 hubs and cleaned and repacked them. I would not recomend the WW line to anyone. I've had 15 year old campers and had no problems we bought this one new (ordered it)and had nothing but trouble. They also ran a staple or screw thru the thermostate wire somewhere and it shorted out and blew fuses and it is on the same circuit as the 12 line to the referigator so it stopped working also. I rewired the thermostat.

I have an early 06 FS2300 and in almost 6 years the wheel bearings never gave me any trouble, I cleaned and re-packed them a year ago and they were still good! I tow pretty heavy so I would have to wonder if there is something else causing your wheel bearing issue..

I have an 04 fs3000 and I have yet to pack the bearings, I'm probably going to do it for next season but no problems yet, there is lemons in just about any type of vehicle, the only issues I have had with my WW was a water leak that rotted out the cargo compartment floor due to lack of maintnance (sealing the front cap/roof area) and a melted fuse holder at the battery, I have an 06 GMC duramax PU which has been to the dealer 10 times since I owned it in 50k and I feel the same way about this truck but some love them and no probs, I guess it depends what day it was built and who built it (like the guys at the jeep plant caught on camera puffin a J and drinkin beer at lunch) you never know......me, if I go to the auto parts and there is 50 on the shelf, I get the one defective one....

The front cargo compartment of my '06 FS2300 rotted completely out along with the bathroom floor too. I replaced everything that I could tear out with marine-grade 3/4" plywood (with 3 coats of Kilz). I completely re-did the bathroom.

My biggest problem is that I never did figure out where the water was coming from. It seems to stay dry now (I check after we have a big rain event and it has stayed dry). There are some soft spots in the kitchen area, but the floor seems to be holding up. I was just in there over the weekend checking things out (~20 degrees here in Kansas) and I could hear and fell ice crystals in the flooring. Weird.

Anyway, how does one figure out were the water is coming from??

Thanks.
