Took the pilot and safety valve assembly out of the oven and cleaned it up, hoping it would magically work again.

No such luck. Ordered a new safety valve. Getting ready for a trip in mid-January, can't wait!

Drove down 400 miles of the Natchez Trace. 2 lane park road with no stop signs or traffic lights. 50 mph is a pleasure after a few 100 miles of the Interstates.

It warmed to the mid-50s and sunny so lifted the sides on the MH cover and hooked up the batterys. Fired the Generator up. It started on the 2nd bump on the starter. Ran it with a load for about an hour and shut it down. Then fired the MH engine. Started first bump. Let it run up to temp and until the exhaust was dry while I checked the tires. Shut it down and unhooked the batterys. Put the Cover back down and zipped it up. Now I am sad. Just about 4 or 5 weeks of winter left for us. So with any luck next time it will be uncovered and we will be looking to go some place. As soon as we get warmer spell I plan to repack the front wheel bearings and perhaps replace the front brake pads..

Went out with a ladder and cleared alot of the snow off Summerhouse. Sun came out in the afternoon and took care of nearly all the rest.
What an odd winter we are having so far.
It looks so cold and lonely out there.....

Our C has been missing a window screen in the the back bedroom since we bought it. We stumbled across a screen with the right size curves but it was to big. Took it apart, then cut it down to the right size. Now looks like it came with it. Not bad for $5.

Exercised the generator, but now 110-volt power is not getting to any of the appliances. I tried resetting all of the breakers including the one on the generator and at the circuit panel but without sucess. RV is parked at the storage lot so I'll need to go get her within the next couple of weekends and bring her home to work on her.

I see you have a newer RV but on my relic, after unhooking from shore power, you have to plug the power cord into the receptical from the generator. Very basic indeed but the PO actually took the rig in for repairs when he thought there was a problem. The repairman reached into the storage compartment and plugged the cord in.
Just a thought.
