RE: 50amp RV useing 30amp at camp ground.

You can run 1 A/C at a time, maybe 2 if you have power control that allows only 1 A/C to start at a time. With 1 A/C, you can run the microwave and maybe electric water heater. Having a 30 amp coach, I have never had a problem tripping a breaker using whatever I want.

RE: Suggestions - Local Places to Eat in Wellsboro, PA Vicinity?

Try the Wellsboro Diner, or, if it's still there, the '21 Bun Salute' for your choice of 21 different hamburgers, all of them good.

RE: Branson Mo.

US 63 North to West Plains, MO, then US 160 west to Branson. Very scenic. Pretty curvy and hilly, but no serious "mountain" grades.
If you want to avoid the hills and curves on 160, and there are plenty, continue on up to US60. 4-lane all the way to Springfield.

RE: GPS Software

I've been using DeLorme Street Atlas for about 8 years. I bought a headset w/microphone to plug into the laptop since Street Atlas works with voice commands for hands free operation. Great when you're near cities and need to zoom or pan to get a better view for you next turn, etc.

RE: Generac NP55G need help with starter solenoid

I've had that same Generac generator for 9 years and over 1300 hours WITHOUT a single problem. I see a lot more problems with the Onan generators on this forum than I do Generac. (BTW, that's a built in QUIET generator, not a contractor one)
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.
I would have to guess the 'new' solenoid is bad if you see arcing when you try to start it. Are you sure it's the right solenoid to handle the amps?

RE: Blue Grass Pky Kentucky-Restrictions?

Reason I ask is that some of the PARKWAYS here in the northeast do have restrictions on commercial and large vehicle traffic. There are a few places low overpasses would take off at least your A/C. Thanks

Would like to know if there are any size/weight restrictions on the Blue Grass/Western Kentucky Parkway? TIA

RE: best route from ct to de?

Going west over the Tappan Zee has no toll ... only coming east. Camp on!
I forgot about that. Going east, the toll for my motorhome a toad was $24.50.

RE: best route from ct to de?

Yes you can tow over the Tappanzee...no problem. Then take I87 - 287s - I78w - Northeast extension of the Pa turnpike to I495 in Philly to I95s to Delaware. For me, there ain't no good way to get to Delaware.

RE: What would you do?

I once called a 'resort' to make reservations. I asked if there was an age limit on motorhomes, and she said "No, just on the drivers". At that time I had an 18 year old motorhome.

RE: Securing Genturi to side of coach - How did you do it?

I made my own 'Genturi', which is patterned exactly after the original. My generator exhaust comes out pointing towards the right rear of the coach. I had a pipe bent at a local garage for 10 bucks that allowed me to hang my genturi on the ladder standoffs. I simply pop riveted hooks on the up pipe at the location of the standoffs. Nothing else needed to hold it in place.

RE: RV Door 90 degree attachment

You should be able to find a pneumatic door piston at any home center. They also prevent the door from slamming shut when you close it.

RE: 2002 Itasca Sunova swaying issues

Welcome to the forum Pat. To help you out, we need more information. What chassis is the motorhome? Ford or Workhorse (Chevy)?
Just a guess about the trailer, it could be the axle on the trailer is out of alignment which causes it to follow to one side. I seriously doubt the hitch is off center. I'm sure you'll get lots of help here.
