I run mine all the time when traveling. If I can trust it to run all night with my family sleeping, I sure should trust it going down the road.

I got one about a month ago. Love it so far. I hope it holds up, not a fan of Polaris quality
My family has been running Polaris exclisively for a very long time without one mechanical failure. Nearly 1000 miles on my '10 RZR and '09 550XP, and 2000 miles on our '05 Trailboss without one single problem. And my teen boys and I are not easy riders. I'm impressed in the improved reputation that Polaris is holding these days.

I hope your right. I had a Polaris scrambler 400 I bought new in 96, it was a pos. Only had it for a year, was falling apart. Some of my friends have had similar experiences. Like I said I love the XP. It is a great machine, that's why I gave Polaris a second chance.

I have the Goodyear G rated 614 tires. I have never blown one out, but have had 3 of them peel the tread off. Each time it caused damage to my trailer. Goodyear would only pro rate the tire. They did nothing to compensate me for the damage to the trailer. I'm going to try the Michelin xps ribs just ordered 6 of them. Hope i have better luck.

thanks for all the replies. I ended up getting the red 900xp here locally for $15139.00 plus tax. I used Abernathys for leverage, saved me a 800 mile round trip.

Polaris 900xp price
I am thinking about buying one of these. Was wondering what kind of a deal one could expect from a dealer on a new unit. Any advise would be great. Thanks
