Any one canceling at Topsail in July?
If any one is going to cancel their campsite in July at Topsail in Destin(anytime between July 8-24, please let me know. My daughter and I always go on a mother/daughter camping trip for 4 nights and dumb-dumb me, waited to long to book a site. So...if you are going to cancel, please let me know. :)

Some sites have 50 amp, other's do not. They are in the process of replacing all the electric outlets so that they will accomadate 50 or 30.

If your site is on the water, you will have a bit of a breeze. But it will be hot and muggy with afternoon thundershowers.

They did do a control burn during the winter, however, the tree is still there, just alot of the brush is gone. I would say it would be very, very close on this site. Are there no other sites open for you?

Ok, I did the wet papaer towel thing. I heated up the grill, shut the grill off and put the wet paper towels on it and close it. I came back in about 10 min and wiped and wiped and wiped. I did use a plastic spatula to get off some of the tougher stuff. I repeated this one more time and the grill is much better now.

Cleaning a George Foreman
My son graduated from college and has moved back home. He has a George Foreman that I think he has never, ever cleaned. LOL! eerr! It has alot of grim and grease on it. Please tell me how to clean it. They are not removeable.

Hi... heading to st andrews in a few weeks... lucky to get a site on the water but can't remember what the sites in this part of the park look like.
Anyone at St Andrews now?? would you mind taking a picture of site #22 and sending to me?? The description says "requires good backing skills", Which i have but am not sure why it is needed here... is this one of the sideways sites?

The reason it says requires good backing skills is because there is a palm tree to the right that is big. BUT, you will have NO trouble getting into it.

It is trying to get out of there. It is a lot less than 2 weeks ago.
Yes, it is trying to get out. There were alot of patches of clear water out there.

We just got back and there is June Grass. Not super bad, but it's there (the fine stuff). Out further it's thicker.

Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repellent Appliance????
Has anyone ever tried the Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repellent Appliance? They have them at Wal-mart and we were thinking of getting one to have for the camper.
