RE: Compartment Door Rust

I'll be watching you post because I too have been attacked by the rust rogues. We really like our unit but that may be the straw that breaks the camels back. I've used wire brushes, wire wheels, naval jelly, and then Rustoleum. Some instances it has worked and some have not.
Good luck

RE: Looking for a campground within an hour of Hartford Conn..

Seaport Campground in Mystic, Connecticut, is just about one hour from Hartford. As other folks have said, there is not anything in the immediate Hartford area.
The coadst of Connecticut is generally 10 degrees cooler than inland areas so that's where I'd head.

Hot Water Heater Noise

Over the last month or so we have been hearing a noise, sort of a little bit whining, a little bit humming, and even a little bit whiring, coming from the hot water heater when ever we run any amount of hot water. Cold water-no noise. We replaced the back flow preventer last year around this time.
Has anyone ever had this happen? Any ideas?

RE: Where is Colter Bay Campground, no hookup version?

The two types (hookup and non hookup)are next to each other. We stayed in the hookup section so I can't help you out with the size of the sites, but, it's a nice campground. You'll love it there.
