RE: FRONT BUNK END STILL LEAKING AFTER GETTING NEW SEAL!

Sounds like you have a warped bunk door. Have you gotten up there with a ladder to check the seal?

RE: Back in a Hybrid

I doubt you'll be going back. I have family with a 33' TT & they are considering switching to a HTT. I have as much living space as they do & my HTT is less than 1/2 the weight.

RE: Roo Hybrids leak?

My 2010 Roo 19 leaked when towed in the rain. It kept getting in through the corners at the hinge. Have since traded the Roo for a Jayco 23B & haven't had any leaks yet.

RE: Why we got a HTT

This is the view we had last weekend. You can't beat a HTT.

RE: New Kumho's on the way

I hope they work out for you. I'd love to have tire rated so I could tow at 70.

RE: RV or motel?

Personally I'd rather take the TT not only for the conviences but to avoid the major increase in bed bug infestations. Not that you'll definitely come across one. It is always something that hits me as I lay down in a motel bed. However fuel is crazy right now & is a major expense. To me it depends on your budget.

RE: Jayco X19H or Rockwood Roo 19?

Personally I have to say go with the Jayco. I had a 2010 Roo 19 that was just problem after problem. I had something needed to be fixed just about every time we camped. I was constantly having to fix the drawer tracks or the cabinet closures because the screws were always coming out. It started right from day one with whistling propane tank pigtails. I had to replace the regulator, a cabinet door that just split at the seam, a bad radio, control board on the furnace, it leaked when towing in the rain, & the front bunk delaminated. That was all with a 2010. My warranty expired and by that time I was worried how much money the damn thing was going to cost me. So I traded it in and bought a Jayco 23B. The fit and finish is much better than my Roo's ever could have been. Check RVDirect they had the best prices both times & I purchased both from them. I'll see if I can get wolf_rver to post the experiences he has had with his 2010 Roo 183. He has had it worse than me. So to me $3500 is worth every penny to avoid the aggravation. Others will disagree but those are my experiences with a Roo.
