RE: Any Prov. Park CGs in Ontario/Niagara Falls Region??
I hope you have given the Ontario Parks website a good look, with special attention to the fees. Their last increase a couple of years back drove me away from them. Although many state parks in the US are some of the lower cost alternatives, up here they are on the most expensive side of the grid.
If you want the experience and vista's of a Provincial Park there is NO alternative. No private park can match Algonquin, Pinery, Awenda, Killbear, Killarney, .............and my list goes on. If you love full hookups and just sitting around your site all day sending the kiddies off to the pool then private campgrounds are for you.
Agree they are pushing the envelope on price but there is no alternative for the type of camping they offer.
To the OP, pick a park and I'm sure many will chime in with suggestions and comments.

Go with the 3.73. Great choice BTW.
The HD Payload package comes automatically with 3:73's and the larger rear pumkin. Ford makes it too easy!

You could do the same thing with a Flojet Macerator. It's designed for the job! I use mine to off load to my gray totes right in the back of the truck or right by the hitch instead of lugging them all the way from the dump valves. Find it also makes the job very neat and tidy.

We somehow survived 10 years with a 22 foot non slide unit with no dedicated kid spaces, tv, or game system. The more comfortable and convenient the TT is, the less likely they will be spending time outside. I just can't imagine the "need" for 34 foot TT used only a handful of times a year. If your family had to live in a TT, then I could see how a huge TT would be useful.
Since I camp all year, including winter here in Ontario my thoughts are just the opposite. I bought to small. When you only camp in the summer it's to easy to be outside all the time but when it's -18C/0F for a couple days I can only keep everyone including myself in the great outdoors for a limited amount of time. In my case camping a lot from Fall to Spring we do need a place to hide from the emements from time to time ;)
Buy as big as you can and again KZ makes some nice big units in the Spree line that are easily managed with an ECO boost F150.

We can guess and give recommendations all day. But until you get your system on a set of scales such as the local CAT scales you are wasting time and may be spending money and energy on things that will not help your problem.

Had an '07 F150 pulling the rig in my sig which weighs almost 7000lbs on the axles and another 900+ on the tongue with the OEM General "P" rates tires aired to max side wall presure(44psi) and never had issue with handling using a very basic Eazi-Lift system and friction sway control.
Get it all weighed.

Wouldn't dare replace the OEM system on my PSD for one of these! They just DO NOT filter enough to make sure you don't dust the engine! Never mind that the OEM filter can last an extemely LONG time between changes :B

Put one on my 4.6L '98 F150. Waste of time and money and now I have a filter I pull off once a year, wash, dry and then re-oil - takes a whole afternoon.
Saw absolutly no improvement including sound with it's installation.
As usual YMMV.
A whole afternoon?! I have one and it takes a few minutes then a couple hours to dry.
Remove, wash, dry(depends on weather), reoil(make sure just the right amount ),re-install. Yes, most your afternoon is shot and truck is unusable in the mean time. To much oil and your starting over.

As far as cleaning the sensors - I have tried the various commercial cleaners, putting down hot water + laundry detergent (and driving for a while) and also tried the vinegar & baking soda job with no results. We gave up on trying to clean them and learned to live with it.
We just know we've gone too long when the grey water rises to the shower drain, and our toilet "burps" upon flushing.
x2 - also tried the ice cubes as well - pointless.
Save yourself the bother of trying to make them work and just enjoy yourself.

We first met Frank and Lucy several years ago through the winter program at MacGregor PP where they were the camp hosts. We recently seen them at Algonquin and talked with both of them over some hot chocolates about kids,Scouting and most recently Franks project regarding POW camps from WWII in the far North.
Franks fire and passion will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts go out to Lucy.

Our Troop has been using the Eureka El Cap 4 for several years and love them. Great three season tent(4 in a pinch). Great rain and bug protection, packs down great, durable, love the AL pole system, easy to set up even in the dark while it's raining ;) Can't beat them for the money!

The Sunrise series your using I consider fair weather family tents. I'd only use a system with a full fly for starters.

Great glad you got a good one... BUT its no secret on the relaibilty and issues with the ford 6.0........Its NOT something that some ford haters just made up....!! I just hope you can continue to say that...
Only those of us that have the Duramax do not have a story to tell about how the diesel pickup failed when we are assembled around the campfire.
LOL! I guess no one in the crowd with injector issues then. Well then I have had to get new batteries and an alternator, wore out my serpentine belt, a couple sets of tires, shocks and brakes. It has never stranded me, not even close.
Only 200k kms/120k miles on her though so I guess lots of time for things to go wrong :B
Lots of people have good ones in fact 10's of thousands I suspect - seriously not sure how many of these trucks/motors where built between 2003 and 2007. At what point do you think myself and thousands of other PSD owners won't, is it inevitable that it will fail? Fact is, as I see the new trucks I am more convinced I made the right choice going forward and with a little investment I see this truck easily lasting another 10 years.
It constantly amazes me how much some hate Ford yet I see more Ford trucks on the road than any other brand :h
When I was looking for a used truck the Super Duty's represented the best value and not because they are troubled trucks that people where trying to give away but because there was pages of Fords listed compared to Dodge and GM and that made for a great competition on an amazing array of models. Way more of the luxury optioned trucks av with low mileage that had not been beat up - Ford leased a mountain of these trucks and now they where coming back off those leases. Before it's mentioned here in Cda those trucks are NOT returned to the dealer nor does the selling dealer have dibs but head directly to the auctions, hence why a lot of these trucks are av outside Ford's dealer network.
I'm happy with my truck, it has so far exceeded every expectation I had for it. Pulls like a monster and gets better than decent fuel mileage for a truck that weights 8000lbs, better than my '98 F150 with 4.6L or my previous '07 F150 with 5.4L not towing or empty and here in Cda diesel is less than gasoline at the pumps so that is nice when filling her up to! The OASIS report was also completely clean.
Unless you just hate Fords taking these trucks out of your search is in MHO irresponsible. Whether or not you decide to buy one after that is up to the individual.
