RE: Laguna Seca ~ Moto GP

The directions above are incorrect. Google it, just be careful with the gradual downhill on Hwy 1 going into Carmel just before you turn onto Carmel Valley Road. It's deceptive and I almost smoked my brakes on it once towing heavy. I'm undecided whether to take the 5 or the 101: they're doing construction on the 5 and have it at 1 lane in 1 spot going north and in 2 places going south. Got caught in that a couple of weeks ago--no fun.
Sorry, thought he was going to Marina Dunes.

RE: Laguna Seca ~ Moto GP

4 more days until we leave!!! :B
What is the best way to get there with our 40' trailer? :@
Thanks!
Howdy,
101 northbound to Salinas
Exit westbound Sandborn Rd.
Sandborn turns into Blanco Rd.
Stay on Blanco till it intersects with Reservation Rd.
Turn right on Reservation Rd. You will go through Marina.
Reservation Rd. ends at Beach Rd. Make a left onto Beach Rd.
Go under the 1 freeway.
Make the first right onto Dunes Rd., campground is on the right
You will have a great time!!! I was stationed at Ft. Ord for 5 years. The hill over looking the "Cork Screw" was on the base, so we got to watch it for free!!!

RE: 17.5" wheel/tire swap

Howdy,
Could you even fit 17.5 or 19.5" wheels/tires on a triple axle toy hauler?? The tires would have to be low profile????

RE: Mammoth Lakes Area - Staging

Howdy,
If you are getting there at night, watch out for them trees. Glasscreek isn't too bad for pulling in at night, just have a couple of spotters with good flashlights. The riding conditions are very dusty, so bring extra filters and googles. It is mostly fire roads with some atv/m.c. trails. Nothing too difficult, but the scenery is great!!!! If you find yourself on a tight single track.............it's probably illegal, but only if they catch ya.

RE: 3612ds Raptor Inq.

Howdy,
We just got back from a 3700 mile road trip with ours. We have had the normal little things that are easily repaired with a trip to Home Depot or Camping World. Somehow the gray tank for the shower got a crack in the lower corner half way through our trip :h, but I was able to fix that with some plastic weld. My only complaint is that I wish the trailer came with 16 inches wheels. That way I could put LT tires on it. I have Maxxis 8008's on now and have no complaints. Anyway......For the money, I think it is a very good mid level trailer. I dont regret buying ours at all. Good luck
