RE: Palomino s17 folding bunks with mattress in place?

On our 2009 we strap the front mattress after we close and lock front. For the back mattress, we move it far to one side, then close the back up. It never closed properly with the back mattress centered.

RE: 2001 Palomino Stampede-17 Manual needed.

Try contacting Palomino through Facebook. I have had good connections with that route.

RE: Palomino S-17?

Love our '09 S-17! The only problems we had which I think is probably common are... Tires dry rotted quickly and were replaced. Front decal faded, shrank, and is falling off. Shower had a small leak, but caulked around the faucet. Has been a GREAT camper! And Palamino has really stood behind their product, especially if you comment on their Facebook page! :) We moded the closet with shelves. Added a paper towel roll on the wall and a digital thermostat.

RE: what did you do to your hybrid today??

Yesterday I washed, today I wax, tomorrow I will rest! And I also worried about a small bump on the roof as if a screw/nail head or something is popping up.

RE: Towing with a minivan

3rd season with an 04 Kia Sedona & 09 17' Palomino Stampede. Of course the flat land of Ohio makes towing a breeze. Hope all works out for OP.

RE: Is my propane regulator bad?

I like the idea of an auto changeover, but like also the fact I know when a tank is empty to I can get it filled. Appears by photo that one hose has a check valve incorporated with tee. other hose does not appear to have a check valve. Check tee I would suggest getting an auto change over regulator. 254 regulator

RE: Is my propane regulator bad?

It was a continuous bleed from the camper out the green pigtails... If I kept one pigtail connected it would bleed out the disconnected one, tried them in reverse also. No matter which pigtail was disconnected from the tank, a continous flow/bleed continued from the camper.... I thought there would be some sort of stop to keep the camper from loosing what was in the lines. Would hate to think about any sparks in the area as the remaining gas blew out from the camper. I'm assuming this was continuous flow and not just the line(s) bleeding off. One can barely detect 11"wc regulated gas, if the the full cylinder's valve leaks that could flow to the empty's green connector. Unscrewing the connector on the full cylinder would stop this as the spring loaded module would close and stop the leak. I'd use a check tee in lieu of a street tee, this would allow the empty to be removed while the full one is open.

RE: Is my propane regulator bad?

I am not using a changover regulator... Here is a pic of the set-up. I never had gas leak in the past when I removed a pigtail. http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk399/r3rjr/P1040760.jpg

Is my propane regulator bad?

I have two tanks on my hybrid, replaced both tails in the spring as one had a leak and the other was clogged. On my last trip one tank went empty, I closed it and opened the other tank. When I got home I closed full tank, both now closed, unscrewed pigtail from empty tank and the propane just kept blowing out from the opened pigtail. Which makes me think, shouldn't the regulator keep whatever propane that is in the lines of my camper from exiting when I disconnect it from the tank?

RE: Hybrid Shopping - Advise

No problems over the last two years here. Just finished a trip around Lake Erie. Average 9-10 MPG with the Sedona pulling 17' Palomino Hybrid. Noticed a few mini-vans with TT's up in Ontario. http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk399/r3rjr/P1000855.jpg

RE: My first Mods & Accessories --- Pictures

When I used Command Tape it ended up pulling the wallpaper where it was attached which turned into bubbles. Luckily it was being covered with something else.

RE: Waxing 23B

I seem to be having the same problem with my cars! Visible wax like "dots" and swirls... Not so noticible on the camper at least! Will watch your post for some tips! I use Meguiar's Nxt Tech wax 2.0

RE: Would you buy them: Multicolored globe lights

We have the set of the multi-color globe lights with 25watt bulbs... My wife like the durable cord and construction of the set. They come with hooks to easily hang on awning, and the company will send a new set of globes for $20.00 if needed. Bought ours through CampingWorld for $79.99 keep them stored in the same box. http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk399/r3rjr/P1030855.jpg width=640 http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk399/r3rjr/P1030853.jpg width=640 Moderator edit to r-size pictures to forum limit of 640x480px maximum size.

RE: 2008 Sienna and Hybrid Trailer

No "major" problems towing with our '04 Kia Sedona... We pull a 17' Palomino Stampede with a GVWR of 3950. There isn't much room for any storage, but with our clothing, food, 19"tv the scales have the camper at 3,120. (not adding what we carry in the car though)
