RE: Rockies in the Fall?

I want to thank all of you who responded to my question about the pros and cons of traveling in the Canadian Rockies in September. You've helped me make up my mind. See you in Banff and beyond this fall.
The RV.NET forum is such a great place to go when you need help. We have a lot of terrific members.

RE: Rockies in the Fall?

Thanks for all of the comments. I didn't realize that the night temperatures would be so low during the last two weeks of September.
One reason I decided to make the trip was a book I bought for my iPad, written by a great photographer, Darwin Wiggett. It's called The Icefields Parkway and is an interesting read. And it includes some beautiful photographs. He recommends coming during the final two weeks of September because of thinning crowds, the beautiful color, etc.
I wlll be traveling by myself in my RoadTrek 190P camper and would enjoy hearing from others about their experiences.
Thanks for your help.

Rockies in the Fall?

It looks as if I will be going up to the Canadian Rockies this September to do some landscape photography. Maybe you have been there yourself in September. What's your opinion - pros and cons - for making the trip at that time?
Thanks for your help.
