About a month ago a crack appeared on the siding above the door on ours too. I sent an email to Sunnybrook asking for info on how we can fix this ourselves. They never got back to me.
But other than that... I love my Sunnybrook! Agnes

RE: This has always perplexed me...
We're early departure also. If you don't leave Cape Cod early or very late, you're stuck in traffic for hrs. But basically the reasons are the same as everyone else... unload trailer, laundry, mow grass, and relax some before bed time and work the next day. Agnes

RE: Sunnyboork vs. Komfort
No problem until about a month ago. Noticed a 2 inch crack in the siding on the top of the door. We repaired it ourselves and hope it lasts a long long time. Other than that issue, I love our Sunnybrook. Agnes

Just an update... Abby is doing a little better, but she still sits in the kitchen and cries sometimes. She continues to carry around her toy. Otis tries to keep her busy (which keeps him busy too)!

When I got home from work yesterday, Abby came running to see me! She kept looking to the counter... and there it was... a new stuffed toy! I gave it to her and off she went, tail wagging! The trick now is to get it to last more than an hr - she destroys them (that's why we don't buy them). Otis bought a couple and it was sooo nice to see her running around and squeeking it! Made me smile!

I spoke with my vet after she consulted with an on-line vet group. She said the anti-depressants take a couple wks to really kick in, and she doesn’t want to go that way right now. We should continue to keep Abby busy with walks, playing, maybe some doggie-play dates. Abby needs to adjust to the fact that she's the only dog now (as much as I'd like another dog, we're not going to get one right now).
As with people, she needs time to heal. I'll keep a close eye on Abby and inform my vet if she doesn’t improve - she has her good days and bad. Fingers crossed for more good days!

Abby having tough time with Haylie gone
Miss Abby seems terribly depressed. I know she misses Haylie, we all do. I've heard of dogs dying of no apparent reason shortly after their "pal" has passed away. It's been over a week and Abby won't even lift her head when I come home from work (she use to jump all over me with excitement). Otis is with her all day and he takes her for walks, plays fetch, and tries to keep her busy. I'm hoping she just needs a little more time. Thanks for listening, Agnes

Went to the dealer today, they said (and I quote)... "I don't know what to tell you". I just sent an email to SunnyBrook. Will keep you informed if/when they respond.
We figure we'd have to drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop it. Didn't know the best choice for sealing it up.
