RE: Can I fix bathroom floor? Did Tornado cause the damage?

llowllms. What should I expect as I'm cutting into the flooring? Never seen that side of the camper. Is is vinyl flooring and then subfloor? You mention 2x4's .... are those in there now? Or did you install as a means to support the subfloor you were replacing? Would appreciate any insights you could offer. Thanks.

Can I fix bathroom floor? Did Tornado cause the damage?

EDIT NOTE: I just read a post from a camper that had a bathroom leak on a faulty back flusher. It suddenly hit me - my floor stain (that has been spreading slowly for a while - started about the time I installed a Tornado on my black tank. Is there a chance it is leaking through the toliet gasket when I use the Tornado? Now it seems my request below might include taking out the toilet and installed a new gasket. This past summer, I had to have the rubber roof, and some ceiling wood replaced, due to storm damage to the roof. Not sure if it is related, but now we have a growing dark stain on the flooring and some soft spots in the bathroom. I'm certain I have water damage that needs to be attended to this fall. Is this a project I could do myself? I'm relatively handy. I ripped out our kitchen floor to the joists and put in new subfloor, cement board, and ceramic tile. Got to believe this is less complicated. Just not sure what to expect when I start the demolition. Has anyone that has done this work, happen to have any pictures or advice? With all the plumbing in such a small space, not sure what I'm getting into (plus, I've never torn apart a camper. Usually trying to keep one together). Would appreciate any advice. Even if it's "take it to the dealer". Thanks.
