RE: I-69 and I-65 In Indiana

I-465 south is the best way. Avoid this during AM rush hour or you will regret this. If you need to travel at this time, PM and I can tell you how to avoid this nightmare and still not go out of your way.

RE: Mouse Bucket of Doom

I use a small dowel rode thru a 1 lbs can of coffee. place holes in bucket so the top of the can is about 1-2" from the top of the bucket. peanut butter on one end of can. two furring strips: 1 accross the opening perpendicular to the can, and one from floor to strip on top of bucket. critters will drop onto can, and walla........down they go. RV antifreeze. In my stored RV year round.

shouldn't have any trouble with a 25' unit. older park, and sites can be tight backing in.

RE: Brown county state park, IN

Buffalo Ridge #44 -# 52 are outstanding. they will let you in if the site is open. Stay away from Taylor Ridge, unless you can go all the way back to the various loops, but they can be small as these sites are older.

RE: Electric current felt......

This is quite dangerous. about 6 weeks ago a young man in Muncie, Indiana died as a result of electrocution. what you are describing is what killed the young man. Do not use the RV until you have an electrician fix the problem.

RE: Charleston WV to Indianapolis, IN via US 35

if you come 74 from Cincy you will go north on I-465 and around counterclockwise Indianapolis. On the far northwest corner watch closely because you will need to follow I-865 to I-65. If you miss I-865 you will head south on I-465.

Plainfield West metro interstate commuters can buckle up for more highway construction delays.
This week, motorists will begin seeing long sections of cone zones for construction along I-70 from the Westside near Plainfield and Indianapolis International Airport nearly to the Wabash River and Illinois state line.
A trio of state contracts, totaling approximately $37.5 million, has been awarded for patching, paving and rehabilitation of bridges on I-70 across the western half of the state.
That will mean sections of the highway up to 5 miles long will be narrowed to one lane in each direction for various periods.
Even though construction crews will work round-the-clock at times, Indiana Department of Transportation officials said the project won't be done until May. But doing it now, before the road deteriorates further, will save time in the long run.
"This work on I-70 is necessary due to the heavy trucks and volume of traffic that we have on this stretch of the interstate," said Alan Plunkett, district deputy commissioner for INDOT. "We have some deterioration of the pavement, and getting this done now doesn't prolong construction over several years."
INDOT is holding a series of public informational meetings this week to provide details about each segment.
The only metro-area session is at 6:30 p.m. today in the Plainfield-Guilford Township Library, 1120 Stafford Road
Preliminary work began Monday to start the metro-area portion of the I-70 repaving that passes through Clay, Putnam, Hendricks and Morgan counties.
Milestone Contractors has a contract for $27.9 million to patch and rehabilitate the highway from Ind. 59 to a location two miles east of the Ind. 267 interchange at Plainfield. That would be roughly between the Ronald Regan/Ameriplex interchange near the airport, west to the I-70 exit to Brazil.
Commuters may try U.S. 40 as an alternate route.
