RE: GPS what is the best?

Since we're on the subject, what about updates? I've heard stories about outragous costs for getting an update. Most of them have been about the factory installed ones, but a few on the portables as well. I'd hate to get a new one and find out it would cost more per year to update it than it cost. We have had a Magellan for several years. We had a problem of being sent down a closed road under construction, and decided it was time to update. I went to the site to update, and could not belive it, when they wanted to charge $79 dollars. Walmart had a sale on a Garmin Nu 50 with FREE map upgrades for $98.00. I thought for $20 more I could get one that I would not have to worry about upgrades. We love it. It is much nicer that the Magellan which we paid more for. My daughter bought the Garmin with free trafic updates, and she is very happy, because she travels a distance from work and can run into many traffic backups.

RE: BabyCakes pop maker??

Yes, it did come with a book. I made some, when I was feeling better, and had a mess. It was hard to get a uniform size. Some overflowed and some were too small. If someone has a secret for measuring and cooking, let me no. I have put it back in the box, and am not looking forward to using it again. Another gadget for my husband to kid me about wasting money.

RE: BabyCakes pop maker??

Wow! That's the coolest thing EVER!!!!http://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/flowers.gif I'd never heard of the Popmaker until you posted, but I'm adding it to my must-have-for-the-grandkids list! http://www.graphicsgrotto.com/animatedgifs/comments/thankyou/images/agcthankyou34.gif I'd think you could cut down and use just about any muffin-type recipe in it- what a fabulous treat for the kids..and US, of course http://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif And for box-type mixes, Jiffy Mix makes some pretty good small ones. Kohls had them on sale but they are out of stock. I have been sick so am hoping to try it .

BabyCakes pop maker??

I just ordered a Babycakes Pop Maker and I am really looking forward to using it. Does anyon have any recipes to use with the maker. I understand that a regular cake mix makes to many pops.

RE: Facebook Lockout

Thanks everyone!! My sister-in-law, tried to get on FB the next day and there wasn't any problems. They just started another change, and I told her they have a lot of bugs in the new system. I have a feeling this was the problem. Only cyber space knows for sure.LOL My 2 cents. I like FB for many reasons, but one of the main reasons, is it helps me keep up with family and friends. We travel, and I feel like I am able to keep close to those I care about. It is also a great source for prayer requests. My granddaughter has been ill and has to see a cardiologist, and I have many friends and family praying for her.

Facebook Lockout

My sister-in-law, who likes the games on Facebook, has been locked out. First she could not find a place to get in touch with them. She has tried changing her password, several times, and that has not worked. Does anyone have any advice for her and what she can do to get on her page. Thanks in advance for any help that is given!!

Firefox what could the matter be??

I keep getting redirected, when I look up a site or just go to a site I always use. It happens after I have been on the computer a few minutes. Is Firefox having a problem or could it be a virus? Is anyone else having this problem. I notice when I get redirected I go to a page that has sites I can go to, which has nothing to do with what I am looking for. I have been on the Internet for years now and have never had this problem.
